I’m using a 818v3 via the ID41. Is best practice w/the Nucleus via USB?
I can do either.
I have both connected.
But I always use the ID41 because it gives me volume control and auto power-on/power-off from the iPad, instead of having to reach for the Meridian control (oh, the horror).
I have very few albums above 96k, and most of them are old analog recordings (Coltrane, Blind Faith…) which are not super-high res to begin with, if I compare I don’t hear a difference.
if you dont need zone-linking with non-meridian, use the id41.

I think I’ll stick with the ID41, system sounds great and so easy to use.
