I used Sennheiser HD650s with my current set up but the move to HD800 exposed the headphone amp to be a bit noisy at idle and not quite right.
So I started writing a topic asking for advice on a new amp. Couldn’t remember the model so turned the amp over to look.
Then noticed the dip switches underneath…
Moved them back from +10DB to ODB and no hiss, loads of distortion free power.

How foolish do I feel :flushed::flushed:

It happened to me once, too. Now, I always look for dip switches and gain settings before I plug my headphones… :slightly_smiling_face:

Not as foolish as you’d feel if you found out after buying a new amp :slight_smile:
