ARC V1.060 100312 is good to have headphone EQ feature, but why is it that even though it has Audio-Technica im01,im02 or im03 setting, but there is no im04 setting. Is it missing？
Because no one has likely measured the response of them or created one. It all relies on 3rd party repositories for this, Roon isn’t creating them it just packages them up from other sources and puts it in an EQ preset. If one isn’t available then you don’t get one. Not all headphones on market have one.
Looking in AutoEQ there isn’t one and this is the largest repository of headphone eq profiles there is.
It’s a pity that only IM04 is not set. Will anyone set it up？
