The “ICI Radio-Canada Première - Montréal” station (CBF-FM 95.1) no longer plays. There’s no error message — it just spins/loads indefinitely and the “now playing” (yellow dot) indicator never appears. I’ve removed the station from my library, restarted Roon, and even did a full reinstall of the software: the problem persists.
Interesting data point: the equivalent “ICI Radio-Canada Première - Québec” station works perfectly fine, so this doesn’t look like a geo-restriction or a Radio-Canada policy issue — more likely the stream URL saved for the Montréal entry in your directory is stale or dead.
Could you please check/update the stream URL for the Montréal station?
Hmm, the streams used to work - when did they stop?
They are HLS streams consisting of .ts chunks which Roon sometimes has trouble with; I wonder if something has changed in Roon? - I’ll try and find out.
The reason Québec works is that there is a legacy non-HLS stream there. I couldn’t find one for Montréal.
