If the license expires, can I still listen to music on an external DAC?

Hello, good morning, I have updated my credit card to pay the subscription that has already expired.

I have a problem, I cannot listen to music in my Marantz DAC, yesterday I could do it without problem, it suddenly stopped, could it be because the subcrition is expired?

On the iphone I can and a Mac on the sound system itself too.

Since Roon plays to all endpoints from a single Core, it’s unlikely your issue is due to the subscription expiring. If that were the case, you wouldn’t get Roon music from any endpoint.
At some point after ending the subscription, Roon will stop working on all endpoints. In fact, I don’t think it would let you even run the software. So if you are seeing a screen and just not hearing music, it’s not likely to be subscription-related.

I’m going to notify @accounts who can help you with the subscription if there is a problem there.

@Juan_Carlos_Martin, your license is in “past due” stage because it failed to charge the card. It’ll auto-retry the charge soon and you will be fine. While your billing state is not great at the moment, the license is fully functional and should not have affected anything.

Treat this problem unrelated to your license, and tell us what’s going on…

Thank you very much everyone for your response, all the playback areas work, even if you have not paid the license yet and the remaining days are zero.

The problem was the Mac where I have the DAC connected, in configuration I have removed the DAC from the audio section and I have put it back, it has recognized it and it has worked again.

My confusion was because not having the license still active, I thought it could be due to that, but no.

Conclusion, until 4 times the charge on your Roon card is 100% operational.
