I have a MicroRendu powered by a linear power supply and a RJ45 to optical converter.
Would a different streamer change the quality much or is an endpoint just an endpoint?

Each will present with a different sound as they all use different parts to do the same thing.
How different is the argument. Better/worse purely per person.

Well, depends on the endpoint. Streamers are just streamers – all they do is move bits from one place to another. If an endpoint includes a streamer plus other things, like a DAC, it’s more complicated.
You’ve already added a linear power supply (which is pointless) and optical isolation (almost certainly also pointless), so I’d rest there and enjoy the music.
What kind of DAC are you feeding with the MicroRendu?
