Describe the issue

I can't connect to Qobuz in Roon ROCK. I use a NUC 8 i5 BEH, everything worked well till about 10 days, and this is the only problem. I can connect to the Qobuz app in android OS or in Windows without any problem. I tried to reach Qobuz SAV but no answer for the moment. I can't find any information on the web. Are you aware of the problem and do you know what it is ? Thanks !

Hi @flavdlb,

Our diagnostics indicate that your RoonServer hasn’t been online in ten days - have you been able to use Roon at all in the last week and a half?

I’d access the ROCK Web Administration page from a browser on your local network to restart RoonServer. If you see any errors presented, then please share a screenshot of the web administration page here.

From there, use another Roon device to sign into your Roon account. You should have a RoonServer and Roon update pending, so be sure to update devices across your ecosystem.

Finally, navigate to Settings → Services → Qobuz and fully sign out of your account within Roon. Then, go to the Qobuz account page itself in a browser and make sure you’re signed out there, too. Navigate back to Roon and sign back into Qobuz.

Please let us know if this helps. Thanks!

Hi. Thanks for your answer.
I aldready tried all the things you mentionned, but unfortunately there is no update available. I don’t know how I can force Roon Rock to look for an update, I can’t find any link un Roon to do that.
It’s weird that you can not see me roon server activity these last days, cause I’ve been able to connect to Roon, though I did not listen to any music because of the Qobuz problem. I still can’t connect to Qobuz in Toon, wether on the Roon Android app or in a browser.
I tried to listen today to some music on my local storage (ssd in the NUC), It works but I hear some clicks that were not present before, on several tracks from several albums.
Besides, in the “about” menu in Roon there’s a message saying “there was an error checkinf for an update” in the Roon server section.
I guess the last update was not complete. How is It possible to force Roon to make a new update ?

Hey @flavdlb,

Refreshing your database will trigger an update - steps to follow are below:

  • Stop RoonServer from running in ROCK’s WebUI
  • Navigate to your ROCK’s Database Location
  • Find the folder that says “RoonServer”
  • Rename the “RoonServer” folder to “RoonServer_old”
  • Restart the RoonServer in the WebUI to generate a new Roon database folder
  • On the Roon Remotes, press “Use another Roon Server” and connect to the new database
