Inconsistent Audio Quality Reading on Roon (ref#TPG3UL)

No Roon is reporting back what NAD/Blusound card is telling It. It has nothing to do with Tidal. Its after Roon has dealt with the signal anything that shows after RAAT is purely the amplifier reporting back. This is not something new and has been reported on other models in NADS range did on m T778 which showed enhanced without any tone controls enabled to. It does it on the M10 as well.

I already pointed out this in post #4:

What you see in the signal path is accurate, so either TIDAL has incorrect metadata for this release, or the streaming plan (or settings) donā€™t allow MQA. However, since the one in 48 kHz and the other 44.1 kHz, I think it is the former.

I just had reply from BluOs Customer Service and apparently they have had reports regards different bit rate on Blusound gear nearly 6 months ago .This recent BluOs 4.0 update should solve the problem .but it didnā€™t Fact is one of the new future of 4.0 update was bit rate display thatā€™s why peoples now realise they paying premium for services donā€™t work at all on this platform. I have already downgraded to Tidal HiFi only as is pointless to pay extra for nothing

If your on Hifi then you want get anything higher than 44.1/16 MQA or 44.1/16 regular flac encoded files. Roon will show you what the master file available ion Tidal is as and in the one you showed this is 48/24 but as you donā€™t subscribe to Hifi Plus only get the standard 44.1 version to stream. This is how it works and always has.

Hi as I said before I have had HIFI plus and it make no difference whatsoever You right it should work like this1 I know there is a problem and I suspect who is to blame. If I remember correctly you using NAD m10 and you never knew what stream quality you getting until recent BluOs update I recon NAD playing everyone. Tidal has itā€™s secrets as well in my opinion
