We have a customer that uses apple music but has many inconsistencies in it’s operation. Do you have a preferred configuration for apple music or the best way to run it. Through Sonos, through Roon core? He likes to buy his music and put together playlists.

Comcast router and Araknis switches. All devices hardwired with the exception of the Sonos only having the first device hardwired.
Whatever be his likes and dislikes, he won’t be able to create Apple Music playlists on Roon, nor play back any Apple Music content through Roon. Roon doesn’t support Apple Music.
Content purchased from Apple before 2009 will include DRM (digital rights management) that prevents it from importing into Roon.
Apple Music purchases are free of DRM and can be downloaded as files from iCloud and imported into Roon. Many users use .XML library files or M3U playlists, exported out of Apple Music, to quickly import into Roon.
