Description Of Issue

There is an inconvenient search bug that was in Roon 1.7 and still exists in 1.8. If album title appears in the search bar after a dash or in quotation marks (standard formats that you can find in online articles), Roon only finds Tidal releases and doesn’t find albums in the local library that are correctly identified and show the same Tidal albums in versions. If there are no dashes or quotes, only then Roon finds the local album. For example:

  1. floating points - reflections

  2. floating points “reflections”

  3. floating points reflections
