Describe the issue

Launched Roon this morning and I noticed that my Recent activity, ADDED is from years ago. All albums have "Added 3 days ago", but were actually added years ago. Recent activity, PLAYED looks correct.

Hey @Michael_Long,

Thanks for writing in and for sharing your report! Based on your screenshot, it looks like all the affected albums are from Qobuz. If you access your Qobuz account directly, does it show similar albums as recently added?

There are times when Qobuz will make an update to an existing album that will trigger it as a new object within Roon, resulting in similar situations, but this usually doesn’t happen to a large batch of albums at once.

How many albums are showing as recently added?

If you log out of Qobuz in Roon, reboot your Roon Server, then re-login, do you see the same issue?

We’ll be on standby for your reply, thank you! :folded_hands:

It looks to be about 99 albums total. These same albums are NOT Recently Added in Qobuz. I don’t see a date when they were added in Qobuz. They were originally added via Roon. I logged out of Qoboz and rebooted Roon as you requested, but when I signed back into Qoboz via Roon those same albums reappear as added three days ago.

Hello @Michael_Long,

Thank you for the update and for confirming the details.

To help us narrow down the cause, could you let us know if you have a Roon backup from before this issue started? If so, please try restoring from that backup and check whether the “Recently Added” dates for those albums appear correctly.

Once you’ve tried that, let us know if the issue reappears. This will help us determine whether the problem is with the current Roon database or another factor.

I originally noticed this issue the morning of 10/28/2025 when I first signed into Roon from my iPhone. I then tried my iPad and saw the same result. Everything was fine the evening of 10/27/2025, so I first did a restore from backup performed on the evening of 10/27/2025, same issue. I then did a restore from a backup performed on10/23/2025. When you first launch Roon after the restore everything looks correct, and the album total is 2396. Roon then starts processing the library and eventually the total albums grow to 3765. After it completes processing you start seeing about 99 albums from Qobuz show up on the Recently Added section from 5 days ago. Obviously there is some issue reading from the Qobuz database. I am attempting to look for the add date for the albums in question in Qobuz, so far no luck.

Hey @Michael_Long,

Thanks for giving that a try! As a next step, let me know if clearing your Qobuz cache potentially helps:

  • Exit out of Roon + Roon Server
  • Find and open your Roon database
  • Navigate to /Library/Roon/Cache
  • Move the contents of the /Cache folder elsewhere, like your desktop
  • Try restarting Roon and verify if the issue still occurs

We’ll be on standby for your reply! :raising_hands:

There is no /Library/Roon/Cache folder on my Mac Mini. I only run Roon Server there if that matters.

Hello @Michael_Long

Thank you for the update.

Would you kindly

  1. Zip up your RoonBackups folder (right-click it and select “Compress…”):
  2. Submit the .zip file to us through our Database portal
