· In Roon my Qobuz albums listed by added date is not correct anymore. Random albums added months ago are appearing at the top of listing by sorted as "added date". This isn't the first time there has been problems with order in this list.

Hello @Ian_Ramsay

Thanks for flagging this — we’re tracking this issue and your case fits the same pattern we’re investigating.

To help our development team pinpoint what caused the “Added Date” values for TIDAL/Qobuz albums to change, could you please share a Roon backup from before the dates became incorrect ?

If you have such a backup, please do the following:

  1. Locate your RoonBackups folder
  2. Right-click the folder and choose Compress / Zip
  3. Upload the resulting .zip file using our Database upload portal

If you’re able to do this, it would be extremely helpful for speeding up the investigation internally.

Thanks a lot for your patience — we’ll keep you posted as soon as we have updates.

My backups are written to a USB stick in Nucleus. For some unknown reason this is missing from the USB socket. So am unable to help here. Searching the cats lair at moment …

Hello @Ian_Ramsay,

Thank you for the update. We hope the search in the “cats lair” proves successful!

As a general recommendation, we always suggest maintaining backups in at least two different locations (for example, a USB drive and a network folder or cloud storage). This ensures your library data remains safe even if a physical drive goes missing or fails.

Regarding the investigation: please don’t worry too much if you cannot locate that specific backup. We have requested similar data from other affected users to help our R&D team identify the pattern.

However, if you do find it, we highly recommend saving a copy of that backup from before the dates became incorrect. This will give you the option to restore your library to its proper state once our team identifies a fix or a workaround.

If I was a new user and was logging on to Roon-Qobuz for the first time would I encounter this defect?

I did log out of Qobuz and back on but the error still occurred

Hi @Ian_Ramsay,

That is difficult to say, as this issue deals with the metadata and file information being sent to us from Qobuz.

If you are a new Roon user, but have an extensive Qobuz library, there is likely a greater chance of running into this known issue.

Our team is still investigating things, so we definitely appreciate your patience in the meantime! :raising_hands:

Can we have an update on the solving of this problem?

You said - “…..this issue deals with the metadata and file information being sent to us from Qobuz.”

Is Qobuz involved in finding a solution?

Hi @Ian_Ramsay,

No updates yet, as mentioned previously, when we do have new information, you will be informed directly.
