@DrTone Jeff, the information I have read from Cloudfare is that they do not collect data. Instead of taking their word for it, they will be audited by KPMG. I like their transparency.

Cloudflare has partnered with Mozilla on this, so now all Mozilla browsers will default to 1.1.1.1. Wow!
Michael, is it better to change the DNS in the router also? I stream Roon through Bluesound and the module is wired directly into the AirPort Extreme router. I looked in the router settings and I didn’t see any for DNS.
@Thomas_Bacon I changed the DNS in each device in the Roon chain: router (Google WiFi), Win10 computer and iPad (Roon control). I would have thought that only doing it in the router would do the trick but apparently if devices have a different DNS than that address will override the router. I am definitely not an expert, though, so take what I say with a grain of salt. I did see this link, however, about changing the DNS address in an AirPort Extreme router. Hope it helps!
