Infinite Spinner in iOS Roon App

I am getting an infinite Spinner on my iPad. Roon is also not updating metadata. When I click on the Spinner, it tells me that Metadata Improver is halted and I need a software update. How do I do this?

On your Roon core go to settings, top right hand corner About will show what version is installed and whether there is an update. On your ipad go to the app store and there should be an update for the roon remote app.

While the software wants an update, there does not seem to be one available

IOS or core needing to update? For the core just download and install the latest (read up about backing up first). For IOS I would delete and redownload the app.
