Hi @rodbezanilla,

Installing RoonServer on a QNAP TS-462 is supported through Docker, using Container Station. The setup steps are laid out here: Installing RoonServer on QNAP with Docker.

That guide covers the Container Station install, the image settings, and the storage/network pieces that need to be in place for RoonServer to run reliably on QNAP. Since your NAS and Roon Server will be sharing the same local network, it is also worth confirming that the QNAP and your Roon Remotes are on the same subnet if you run into discovery issues: How do I know my devices are on the same subnet/IP range?

If you get stuck on a specific step, tell us which part of the QNAP setup is failing and what you see in Container Station. Thank you.

Hi @rodbezanilla,

Following up on our last exchange, were you able to try the QNAP Container Station setup we linked for Installing RoonServer on QNAP with Docker? If discovery is still off after that, please also check whether the QNAP and your Roon Remotes are on the same subnet using how to know your devices are on the same subnet/IP range. If you ran into an issue at a specific step in Container Station, reply with the part that stalled and what you saw there, and we can take it from there.

Please note, if we don’t hear back from you this thread may close automatically soon. If the thread auto-closes and you need further assistance, please submit a reopen support request via the technical support help form below and specify that the issue should be reopened. Thank you.
