Interesting gear for all the physical media junkies still haunting the forum ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Who said physical media of the small shiny disc variety was dead๐Ÿ˜

Iโ€™m sure my two SACDs will sound so much better with I2S. Now, if I could just remember where I put themโ€ฆ

This is my favorite part:

While many audiophiles are looking for a reliable I2S transport for their High-End DACs, the lack of standardization in this part of market would previously cause many compatibility issues. However, our Zenith XST20 features special hardware that allows switching between 10 I2S pinout modes, significantly expanding its compatibility to virtually all I2S DACs on the market.

Thatโ€™s what I call innovation.

Since some DACs also allow one to switch I2S pinouts, how long before people will start arguing which pinout sounds better?

This looks promising: The best sounding I2S wiring | diyAudio

Itโ€™s about wiring, which is more than pinout, but digital works in mysterious ways.

You can never trust those bits!

Of course I2S being the worst way to move them around, maybe there will be some difference at -200dB
