Gentlemen, as an experienced product designer and an Audiophile I have an idea on how to improve bookmarking process for newbies.
See the problem is that the new comers are not quite into the Focus menu and it’s not associates well with the Bookmarks at first. So I propose you to do the following:
When the user hasn’t added any bookmark yet, add + sign before the bookmark symbol (it will lead the user to the Focus tab), When the user added at least 1 bookmark, add in the dropdown menu of bookmarks a new item “Create new Bookmark” while you can rename the Add Bookmark to Save Current Focus. That will fix the issue of new comers and will make the process of creating Bookmarks clearer and predictable (all in one place).
