Interface lagging behind what's playing

Apologies if there’s a topic coving this already. I have searched but couldn’t find one.

Hardware
7th gen NUC i3 headless ROCK
Wirelessly connected to Matrix Mini-i 3 Pro
Topping MX5
Q Acoustic 2010i

Software
2018 Mac Mini 3Ghz i5
Roon Version 2.0 (build 1353)

This issue has only started in the last week. I’ll be playing music and the display on my Mac doesn’t update to show the current track. The queue will show the correct track, but the display will sit on the last track. This is accompanied by slow Qobuz loading. Even turning off all upscaling, Qobuz will still load the first few songs of the day so slowly playback ceases completely, sometimes for several minutes.

I’d appreciate any assistance with this you could offer. Thank you.

Just another user here, suggesting the obvious reboot of all computers associated with your Roon interaction, if not done so yet.

If futile, add power cycling of all associated networking components in a second round.

After that, I‘m afraid I‘m out and need to leave it to others and support…

Did you do all macOS updates? So that it’s running the latest version of macOS.

Thank you, @Marin_Weigel, that seems to have done the job. The answer to 99% of issues, as always, power cycle! Thank you!

Thank you for your suggestion, @Markus_Hubner. My Mac Mini is fully updated. Bad news for one of my keyboards, which no longer connects, but not the issue with the interface updating. :grinning:
