Intermittent connection issue with NSC222 via Roon Ready (ref#T6XAS7)

· The System Output has *no problem*, it's only my other Zone.

Which network audio protocol is the Zone using with Roon?

· RoonReady

Does the device show up at all in Roon Settings -> Audio?

· Yes, it shows up there, but it isn't Enabled

Does the "Enable" button unlock the Zone?

· I pressed Enable, but the Zone remains disabled

Does the device play audio from another source when using the same connection?

· The device has no problems with another audio source

Is the device using the latest firmware as per the manufacturer?

· Firmware is up-to-date but the issue remains

Do you have an approximate timestamp of when the issue last occurred?

· 5 minutes ago

What are the make and model of the affected audio device(s) and the connection type?

· Montour audio pl100

Hi there
I have problem with concetion to my NSC222.
I can play okay using airplay or chromecast, but when I play via Roon Ready connection. Music plays for 1 minute and then it hangs and I get a message "waiting for your Roon server " and Roon server reboot itself

Thanks for reaching out to us about this issue. Our records show that you have two servers. Are both of them having issues playing to the NSC222? Can you reproduce the connection issue and let us know the date and time it occurred? That would help us locate the issue in your logs.

It happened 15 - 30 minutes ago
I do use the other server. It is licated on other laptop. However I used this laptop as client to the main server - the problem exist on every client I have

Thanks for the follow-up! Does this issue occur no matter the file type you play - local tracks as well as streaming?

Can you test out using different cables, and ensure you have a direct ethernet connection from the NSC222 to both your router as well as your machine running Roon Server?

Here are a few additional things to test as well:

  1. Restart your router and switches.
  2. Check for QoS (Quality of Service) settings that might be limiting Roon’s priority on the network.
  3. Check if there is a firmware update available for the Naim NSC 222.
  4. Try setting Roon’s Resync Delay (under Device Setup) to a few hundred milliseconds to help with stability.

I am sorry I just have seen your reply.
Is there any option I need to set in order to receive email notification when someone reply to me.
I already rebooted all my devices several time. The 2 devices (room server and NSC222) are connected by cables.
All devices are with latest firmware updates.
I will check the rest
