Describe the issue

The connection to Roon is suddenly very intermittent. Last week was fine. I have a nucleus connected via Ethernet playing through KEF LS50 WII. I have tried the speakers both wired and wireless. But music won’t play much longer than a few minutes utes at best. Ultimately I end up with a screen “uh oh something went wrong “

Describe your network setup

Xfinity router; Roon Nucleus B; KEF LS 50 WII

Hi @Mark_Walsh,

Thank you for your post.

The screen you’ve shared indicates that the Nucleus’s connection to your Roon controller is intermittent - the server can’t see the remote.

If playback additionally pauses without command, then the Nucleus has most likely also lost connection to the KEF without sufficient buffer to push through the dropout.

Is the Nucleus connected to your Xfinity router, or to a mesh node? Do you have any managed switches in this network setup?

Please also share a screenshot of your Nucleus Web Administration Interface.

Thank you!

The nucleus has been connected directly to the router and through an unmanaged switch with the same results.

Also there is no light from the power button, can’t tell when on or off

That’s odd. Usually the power light not working is a sign of a serious issue. But if that was the case you wouldn’t be able to see the web admin page or something would read as broken on the admin page. Can you test play audio to the KEF from another device to see if it works?

KEF Works fine with its own streaming app. I haven’t been able to access Roon all day. Can’t find server

Hmm maybe there’s a loose connection or something similar. You should submit an RMA through this link Nucleus Troubleshooting.
