Intermittent Connectivity Issue with NAD C399 and iPhone Roon Remote (ref#WW8794)

Is Roon Server running?

What happens if you press the "Select a different Roon Server" button?

· I see my Roon Server, but I still can't connect.

Please try to restart your Roon Server by closing the Roon app in the taskbar or rebooting your Roon Server machine.

Please try to restart your network setup by unplugging, waiting 30 seconds and then replugging in your networking gear.

Sometimes the issues can be resolved with a reinstall of your Roon Remote app. Let's try to perform a reinstall and see if it helps.

Describe the issue

Out of sudden, one of int amp lost commection only with Roon(NAD C399. Only Roon connection is gone. I still can use machine with BluOS or Tidal Connect)) and only my Iphone doesnot connect to Roon. (Means my other Roon Remote decices are fine such as Ipad, Macbook and Windows Surface)

Funny thing with my iphone is that I cannot conmect to Roon with Roon remote app but I still can connect to Roon with Roon Arc app.

Thanks for writing in to ask us about this issue.

This is an important point. It tells us that the interference is happening with your Roon server’s access to your local network. For testing purposes can you try connecting the Roon server directly to you router and see if the connection with your iPhone is more stable?

Another thing I noticed in your account information is that we have multiple local IP addresses shown for your iPhone. Some are in the same subnet as your other devices while some aren’t. Can you try changing your router settings to use an IP range that is all within the same subnet?
