Tidal and Qobuz dissappear frequently from Roon Home Page. Music stops. Messages in red: Qobuz login failed. Tidal login failed. Favorites all gone. After half minute or one minute they come back.
Describe your network setup
Asus MiniPc PN80 Roon Core, ZTE Modem GPON ONT, Model ZXHN F680, ultra high speed internet, Ethernet connection, DAC Esoteric N05XD with RAAT Mode.
If Qobuz and Tidal authorizations are frequently failing, I’d first verify that your router has a reliable DNS server assigned. In the router Settings Administration page, assign either Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) or QuadNine (9.9.9.9) and restart the network equipment along with RoonServer.
Our diagnostic servers are having difficulty reaching your RoonServer instance to request additional logging. If you use a VPN or any other network security features on your RoonServer machine, try testing with those disabled temporarily.
I couldn’t access the router settings due to the security Internet provider policy. But, I had an idea: I disconnected the Tailscale connection in the Asus mini Pc where my Roon core server is located and bingo, the perfect solution: not a single stop, not a single glitch, not a single Tidal or Qobuz login failed in the last five days. Not a single Tidal working slowly or stops. Only downside the minor complication of just connecting Tailscale again if I want to use ARC in the street with my Android telephone. Tailscale is a great solution for ARC use. Thank you again Connor. Cheers. Diego.
We’re glad to hear that you’ve found a workaround for now. There are broader ongoing issues with Qobuz and Roon sync that we hope to resolve shortly that may have exacerbated this issue for you. In any case, we’ll close this thread for now. Please reach out in a new topic thread if anything else comes up. Thanks!
