· The Nucleus boots up and I can connect to it in the Roon app without issue, but I have a question about configuration/storage/attached devices
Describe the issue
I can’t play music of it. When I turn it on it connects and I can see all my music and devices but when I want to play a album it skips 5 numbers and says to many errors and stops. I have a nucleus one >(cable) router >(cable) Rose RS130 > (usb) Nuprime dac2 > accuphase E360 (rca). I have he Rose RS130 sinds 2 weeks before that I used a eversolo DMP A6 and the nucleus one about 5 weeks. Before I had the rose I had occasional similar problems but that was because the dac 2 didn’t connected to the eversolo I never had to restart the nucleus. And sins I have te RS130 I had to restart it 3 times before now. Now I had to restart it 5 times before it worked again. I use the nucleus like any other a/v product. I only turn it on when I use it.
Sorry the exact time I don’t now but I trayed it at 17:00 time in the Netherlands. Then I stopt traying and trayed it again at 18:00 and it worked again.
Oky just now ik won’t function. I just stopt with the rose remote and wanted to start again. I can change te volume via te remote but it doesn’t get send to the roon app.
Thanks for trying those tests. It does sound like the issue could be on the Rose itself. Are you able to try to perform a factory reset of the Rose and see if that helps improve the behavior? Please also check if there are any firmware updates avaliable. Let us know how this goes!
Just restarted the rose and had some trouble with the dac connection. But I got it working again. I am more than satisfied with powering of the rose every time. This should mean it will work every time. But I hope you can get it to work properly. So you my give the sine when there’s no other way any more. Until that time I will just keep using it in standby mode.

Thanks for the update. Just to clarify, does the issue happen when the Roon Server is hosted on another machine, or does the issue only happen when the Nucleus is running the Server duties? You can try to switch Roon Servers by first creating a Backup of your current database, and then going to Roon Settings → General → Disconnect → Use this PC. I would be curious to know if the same issue occurs from a different server.
My intentions are to only use the nucleus as a server (that’s why I bought it before the price upgrade earlier this month) so no I haven’t tried this. Will it do you any good just for test purposes?
Well I went straight to work and put the server on my pc. Now I have tested it by putting the pc a few times on and off for roon to start up. And more than 20 times put the rose on standby and then start a song in roon via de ipad. This has works almost immediately. Sometimes only the rose goes on and I have to start the song again but it never scripted songs or froze. I didn’t even tested to start a song when the rose is on standby, great. So I will put it back on the nucleus and see what will happen there.
Now 8:40 +1:00 eu time started the nucleus end a local album but it freezes the first track at 3 sec.
After restarting only nucleus it got to the same point and it works.
