Describe the issue

I'm using a Google Pixel 8 with GrapheneOS (Android 14). With Roon Arc I use the Moondrop Dawn Pro DAC. After sometime, seemingly random my music stops playing. The only way to fix it is to force quit Roon Arc from app info, then it works again.
I can share app logs if required.

Describe your network setup

Intel NUC8, Debian Linux, Roonserver, port forwarding has been correctly set up. Router model is default provided by ISP (Telenet).

In Roon ARC, if you do not connect the Moondrop Dawn Pro, does it play to the phone’s speakers without issue or is the issue still apparent?

In Roon ARC Settings, Do you have the ‘Enable USB Driver BETA’ enabled? If so, do you have the same issue if you disable it?

The USB driver support is still at beta status because Roon have still not resolved all such issues.

I do use the USB driver since I appreciate the “exclusive mode” functionality. I’ve heard some strange artifacts when 44.1 is being converted to 48khz… this is on Roon desktop going through the Windows sound mixer however, but I digress.

I haven’t tried playing Roon ARC through just my phone speakers, but generally in my car over Bluetooth it seems fine so this might point to the USB driver being the issue. I’ll try listening some more with the driver disabled. Thanks.

Hi @Lennart,

Roon is not yet officially supporting GrapheneOS, but we’re investigating this report to pin down whether the symptoms are related to connectivity or audio transport.

Please provide an approximate timestamp of the last dropout - or the name of the track that was playing - and our team will use that to pinpoint the event in diagnostics.
