Is your device connected directly to the Roon Server via cable or over the network, or is it chained through another device (such as a streamer, Roon Bridge, or Roon Remote)?
· Connected directly to my RoonServer machine
Does the device show up at all in Roon Settings -> Audio?
· No, it does not show up there
Does the device play audio from another source when using the same connection?
· The device has no problems with another audio source
Have you checked that Roon is whitelisted in any firewalls?
· I've checked the firewall and the issue remains
If the device has multiple output options, do the other options work as expected?
· Only one output type is affected while the other output type works as expected
Is the device using the latest firmware as per the manufacturer?
· Firmware is up-to-date but the issue remains
Do you have an approximate timestamp of when the issue last occurred?
· I played a the track Blue by the Colin Steele Quartet at approximately 21:50 when it interrupted a few times — I rebooted Roon less than a minute into the track and the Album played without interruption after reboot
What are the make and model of the affected audio device(s) and the connection type?
· I have a [B]T Smart Hub cabled with cat 6 to Roon nucleus connected to a D Link and a QNAP NAS drive all controlling 2 Linn Exakt streames connected to Linn active Akubariks and Linn Akudoriks.
Describe the issue
When I stream 24 192 and 24 96 albums the stream playback stops approximately every 3 or 4 seconds and picks up again in the correct place to be interrupted again and again. My network is all cabled with cat 6 and is directly connected back to the router. When I reboot Roon playback is okay for a few days before the issue returns and I am compelled to reboot Roon again.
(just another Linn owner) Linn streamers are rather picky about network equipment. When you reboot, the streamers are (re)discovered by the Roon server, but eventually the server may start having problems reaching the streamers because discovery relies on multicast, and some routers and switches don’t pass multicast to Linn streamers reliably. When I read of something called “Smart Hub” I get suspicious, what “smart” means in consumer networking gear is “makes assumptions about certain protocols that are not so smart.” My suggestion is to get an unmanaged Netgear switch to set up a star configuration with Nucleus, router, and streamers connected to the switch.
I appreciate your time and attention to my problem.
I would however want to be assured that your suggestion would resolve the issue.
I would appreciate it if a diagnostic could be run on the track which I streamed last night (at approximately 02:00) so that I can be certain what the issue is and why it is the case that after a reboot the streaming of the same track and album was without any interruptions.

I’m sure Roon staff will run diagnostics for you when they return to work after the Easter break – I’m a volunteer here.
Yet when the track Locomotion by John Coltrane was played at that resolution it played without interruption for almost 6 minutes before stuttering again and then played without interruption for the last minute or so!!
The whole album Blue Train at 24 192 streamed without interruption after fhat. — from around 00:28 onwards

Thank you for your post and for your patience in awaiting an official response to this report.
We’ve examined diagnostics around the dropouts you reported. These are consistent with the issue tracked here:
The content delivery network through which the Qobuz API serves most of its tracks to Roon was failing to deliver data. 192KHz tracks specifically were queueing, but then no data was receiving via the content delivery network.
After “Locomotion” had played for about 6 minutes, Roon requested more data from the Qobuz API. It’s a long song and Roon had more audio to buffer. It received no data from the content delivery network that had previously been working. The same error, but manifesting in an unfortunately different situation.
We did not see any evidence of local network dropouts, multicast handling issues, or other problems.
Qobuz has now resolved the problem and you can expect these tracks to start playing reliably at this point.
Please reach out here if you have encountered any dropouts since you last posted and we’ll promptly examine them. Thank you!
I have been away from home since last Thursday so I have only been able to check late last tonight and today (Tuesday 14 April) to ascertain whether the issue has been resolved.
I played Blue Train by John Coltrane on a 24/192 version again this morning only to find that streaming was interrupted after only a few seconds and repeatedly subsequently.
I paused play after a couple of minutes.
I also played lack Cow by Steely Dan last night at 00:58 Tuesday 14 Aprilon 24/96 and found it to be interrupted.
I rebooted Roon and it appeared to have resolved the issue but when I tried again with Locomotion by John Coltrane it appeared to be okay for a short time but then reverted to interrupted play
Streamed Black Cow by Steely Dan on 24/96 at 15.26 and it was fine.
Thought the issue had resolved itself so I let Roon radio stream the Doobie Brothers Natural Thing from the album The Captain and Me on 24/192 resolution.
Unfortunately streaming was interrupted approximately every 3 or 4 seconds throughout the track which I allowed to play on its entirety so that you could run any diagnostics which are necessary.
In addition to the interrupted streaming issue regarding 24/96 and 24/192 Qobuz streams I now have an additional fault which involves interruptions to BBC Radio 3 streaming.
Does the issue happen with local library music, streaming service music, or both?
· *Only streaming* music is affected.
Please select the streaming service(s) with which you're encountering playback problems.
· Qobuz, Live Radio
What are the make and model of the affected audio device(s) and the connection type?
· linn akuarate streamers Nucleus with lifetime subscription, linn speakers — Akubariks and Akudoriks, keg ceiling speakers, Sonos amps, QNAP nas drive, D li k switching control
Describe the issue
I have already requested support and not had a resolution to interrupted streaming with 24/96 and 24/192 Qobuz streams. The case reference is 29AYWB. In addition radio streaming is also interrupted. It appears that the issue requires me to reboot nucleus very frequently- sometimes daily. I have had responses from Conor from Roon staff but no response for the last 6 days and I do not wish the matter to be disc a 7 day break.
Describe your network setup
I have Linn akurate streamers in a system which is complete hard cables with Cat 6 back to the router.
