Hello @Jeffrey_Glacken

Thank you for reaching Roon support.

I think the next step here is to enable some diagnostics on your account so our technical staff can get some more insight into what’s going on here.

However, before I enable this feature, I’d like to ask for your help ensuring we gather the right information.

First, can you please reproduce the issue once more and note the time at which the error occurs. Then respond here with that time, and I’ll make sure we review the diagnostics related to that timestamp.

Now i cant get into the proper roon server. The proper roon server is on my k50. The only option i am getting is pointing to a Mac mini which is on my desk. Of course roon is not there. It was deleted but i cant get to the proper server . The k50 does not even show up on the roon settings. What should i do. I have deleted the app on my ipad and redownloaded it three times. No change.

This morning i opened roon and had a choice of roon servers. So i picked the correct one. How do i get rid of the other improper option?

3;38 PM, Sat May 30, 2026, Nathan East, Qobuz. I have been playing all local files until this.

405pm. Sat may 30 Nelson Rangel

Maybe Rachel had finished. Don’t know why it would not move on. Nothing is playing.

4:29pm sat Strunz and Farra qobuz just stopped

6:07 pm. 3rd force just quit. Local file

It looks like roon server is using 25%of cpu?

3 rd force just quit again, 6:15 pm

Now it wants me to manage

Did it again at 6:23

Sorry, had to switch to mpd/with JPLAY

Hey @Jeffrey_Glacken,

Thanks for the timestamps! From a fresh diagnostic report, we can see the following around the Nathan East dropout in real time.

Roon flagged a poor connection kbps:1760–2110 (min:2117) meaning the stream was getting slightly less throughput than the 24/48 FLAC file requires.

Do you only see this with Qobuz content?

As a next step in troubleshooting, I would see about temporarily simplifying your network setup. Can you get a simple, direct ethernet connection from your K50 to your primary router?

Do you typically see this shortly after you perform a fresh reboot of Roon Server, or does it slowly get worse over time, without any server reboots?

Thank you! :+1:

Hi Benjamin,

This does not happen just on Qobuz. I have a long run from router to K50.don’t know answer to last question.

Next steps?

Hi @Jeffrey_Glacken,

The error traces still stand - your playback issues seem to be stemming from poor connection. Are you able to explore any bandwidth priority settings on your router to allow K50 additional network priority?

Does this issue happen no matter the file format of the tracks playing? Or, does it only happen when playing higher resolution audio?

The question was:

So, if you reboot Roon Server, do you experience playback issues immediately afterward? Or, does it take a few hours, or a full day, before you start experiencing issues again?

Thank you!

Just did it again on Qobuz. Time 7:34 pm eastern. 192 file. The router is at least a gig

Just had AIFF file quit twice in last couple of minutes.16/44 file.
