Internet radio issue

I am getting an error that I have not seen before when I try and play an internet radio station (Boston’s WGBH 89.7): “Transport: failed to load media”. This station has always worked - I got the URL from Tunein and I’ve never had a problem with it. I tried going back to Tunein to grab the URL again and I still get the same error. Other radio stations from tunein (like WBUR for example) work fine.

Any suggestions on how I can get my favorite radio station to work again?

Hi Dylan,

First I go here: https://tunein.com

and then I search on WGBH, which send me here:https://tunein.com/radio/WGBH-897-s28957/

and I use that link for Roon, which finds the right station, but I get that transport failed error.

I tried to use this station, along with another member of the team, and we are both seeing the same behavior here, so it seems like this may be a bad stream. I also tried adding this station to iTunes, but I’m seeing similar behavior there — The station just won’t load. It seems as though this link may be a bad stream of the station.

I did a quick search for another URL that may work, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to find anything. It may be worth contacting the station directly and see if they have a URL they provide for internet radio streaming.
