It may just be my imagination, but the latest update of Roon and the 24bit output for lower quality streams seems to have made my radio sound a lot better.
Depending the OS you’re running your core on and what lossy codec you’re listening, to, some of the underlying changes we made are more substantial than others. I think the most noticeable differences will be with AAC on Linux (and OS X, to a lesser extent).

It’s running via an Antipodes, so it is AAC on Linux.
