Description of Issue

Started using new MacBook as my new core. Old core on old MacBook was deactivated. No intention to run two. Wanted to use remote control - Roon on my iPhone. It started connecting me to old core which should not be available anymore and it was working !!!. So decided to log out on both devices and log in again to new core. Now it says invalid recaptcha. Cannot do anything.

The problem seems to be resolved by itself. The old core name showing on my iPhone seemed to be just a name (???) which I could change in settings (I hope). Anyway it took another 10 minutes before new core name on iPhone was showing. I hope that currently both devices my MacBook Pro (where the new core home is) and my iPhone use one the same core and that old one which was deactivated earlier does not exists anymore. Is there any way it can be verified as I want to be correct. However still cannot understand that issue with logging in. Confusing.

Oh no! I got logged out this time without doing anything. What is going on?

Reboot your router.

Hi @mep,

Ben with support here, I wanted to check in on this thread and see if you were still running into issues?

Let me know, thanks!

Thank you Ben for your concern.

When logging in this chat/forum yes I have. Had to try twice - reCAPTCHA error again.

There were probably too many changes at the same time. New laptop and roon core moved to that device, also new internet. So far I have no more issues with Roon which I reported above except logging in Roon forum or account. Sometimes I have red warning about Qobuz logging me out. But that is a different story I presume. Regards. M.

Hi @mep,

Thanks for the update! Our community forum is hosted on Discourse, so any reCAPTCHA errors are likely browser/network-related rather than Roon-related. Does the same thing happen across different browsers?

That said, if you’d like to troubleshoot your Qobuz logout issue Id be happy to help. The first test to run would be to hardwire your core device directly to your router and see if you get logged out again.

Let me know, thanks!
