[Investigation] Distorted Output on Roon with Samsung USB C Headphone Adapter (ref#4Y0C1E)

Description of Issue

When using a Samsung USB C to headphone adapter, which obviously includes a DAC, the output on Roon when the Beta Driver is enabled is garbled and screeching. Very NOT pleasant to hear.

NUC 7i5, 16 gb, 256 GB OS drive, 256 GB Data Drive.
Headphones attached to the adapter don’t matter.

Connected Audio Devices

SAMSUNG USB Type-C to 3.5mm Jack Adapter (Ee-UC10J)

Hi Ivan,

It has been happening since the inclusion of the Beta driver. I think I mentioned it in the first thread of DAC issues, but, never created a separate thread for it.

Thank you for your reply, @Rugby, is there any chance to try how other apps behave when using this adapter as an output device?

They play fine. Anything that goes through the Android Audio Mixer plays fine. In fact, ARC plays fine if I turn off the Beta USB driver and ARC uses the Android Audio Path.
