iOS 12 Roon client lockup

Since updating yesterday to iOS 12 release Roon client 1.5 (333) has locked up 2 or 3 times. It simply becomes non responsive to touch. Closing and reopening resolves for a few hours.

Anyone else notice this? Running iPad Air 2.

Thanks for reaching out about this, @Larry_Post!

When I saw your report I installed it myself and did some testing through the day and everything seemed to work okay for me. We have members of the team on iOS 12 who have been using it for a while as well. So far we haven’t heard any other similar reports of this type of change due to iOS 12, so there may be something else going on here that we need to take a look at.

To start, please provide a brief description of your current setup using this link as a guide.

Make sure to describe your network configuration/topology, including any networking hardware currently in use, so we can have a clear understanding of how your devices are communicating.

Please also verify the following so we can gain a better understanding of the issue:

  • Since updating to iOS 12 have you tried rebooting your remote and Core machine?
  • When does this behavior occur? While the app is in use or upon opening the app? Has the app been idle prior to this occurring?
  • Are there any other apps in use during this time?

Thanks!
Dylan
