Any chance we can get background refresh enabled for iOS Roon client?
The wait for it to wake up is my number one complaint. I already have set the client to keep the device from sleeping, but I use the device for other tasks while listening to music…

I’ve learned this cannot occur as Roon is not a native iOS app.
Hi. I used to have the same problem with my old iPad Air. However, since upgrading to an iPad Pro model I’ve found the start up time much improved.
Agreed, iOS upgrades have made it much better than it used to be it’s still not native and very likely never will be. It sounds like the unfortunate compromises of a non-native common platform were outweighed by the trouble involved in writing and maintaining native apps on all platforms, and thus the benefits.
