iPad Air4 not recognized as an endpoint all of the sudden

While still working as a remote, my iPad stopped playing music from Roon.
Both devices share the same network segment, the core on headless MacMini is connected by ethernet cable. Ios device, core as well as Fritz router have been rebooted to no avail. I have also deleted & reinstalled the app, checked ios permissions and done a reset on the network settings. Latest software up to date on all devices.
Anything else I can do?

Hey @Butz,

I am so sorry it took us this long to get back to you  . I wonder, is this something you’re still experiencing? Have you updated Roon to the latest build (778) just released?

Hope to hear back from you

Hi Rebeka,

appreciate your reply. I have a standard procedure for unstable Roon performance on my iPad-Air: a complete reset . Roon frequently is unstable on my iPad and I haven’t been able to identify a specific cause. For my Bluesound endpoints, I can switch to my BluOs Controller app, which is far more stable than Roon - at the expense of poorer SQ though.

Hey @Butz,

Thanks for following up so swiftly :zap:

I’m sorry it’s gotten to a point where there now is an SOP for this . I’ve moved your thread into our technical team’s queue, so they can share some more insight and possible solutions.

They’ll be in touch as soon as possible.

Hi @Butz

I’m sorry for the lack of response here. Are you still seeing issues here?

The next time this happens can you let us know when it occurs? We’ll enable diagnostics and take a look. Thanks!

HinDylan,
thanks for asking. No current issue, problem pops up from time to time . Remedy is a complete reset.
I guess I have to live with it.
