Description of Issue
While Roon is running fine and stable on my Desktop (which is connected Via Wifi)
I want to control my music (as it’s in a different room) with an iPad.
On the iPad Roon just keeps disappearing. The music does not stop - but I have to restart the Roon App several times every time I am listening to music.
Welcome to the forum Gary. I’m just a fellow user, trying to help…
It seems your iPad and your iOS version are a little bit old. I am not sure if that is the problem, but it could be.
Thank you for your post and for your patience while we worked through the queue to reach your inquiry.
When you encounter this symptom, what Zone are you playing to in Roon? Are you using the speaker output on the iPad, or another network or USB endpoint?
When the iPad experiences this issue, do you have any problems in Roon on your other Remotes (if any)?
Lastly, the team will be able to ascertain more if we can parse diagnostics from the RoonServer and iPad Roon installs. At your convenience, can you please use the directions found here and send over a set of logs to our File Uploader?
