I just bought the new iPad Pro and running Roon. When will Roon adopt to the higher resolution and larger screen?
You mean that it doesn’t? I was thinking of getting an iPad Pro, but this concerns me.
Why should it, not many other apps are using the extra capabilities why should Roon be ahead of everyone else.
Same experience here, its not Roon’s fault though, although its a perfect example of an app that would benefit greatly from the increased resolution, hopefully it will come, any response from the team at Roon?
Sure have, think iPad Pro is still a bit new though. There was no-one buying them at my local apple store so maybe there is not much interest in it.
Well for something with no interest they are sold out everywhere.
It will require some changes to the apps and I fully expect Apple to make changes in their iOS in 9.2 to deal with he large screen.
On the bright side my SurfaceBook works perfectly ad uses that whole big beautiful screen and I can use it as an endpoint as well when listening to my headphones.
Got to play with an ipad pro at best buy today. All I could think is how awesome the large size would be for Roon, very tempted to buy one. Can’t wait to hear about the results of Roon properly adapted to the large display.
I bought one yesterday and don’t regret. It’s gorgeous and very nice for reading magazines, web sites etc…Don’t regret.
