Description Of Issue

iPhone Roon Remote crashes after few seconds (regardless of what I’m doing on it) version 1.7.00610
iPhone 12 Pro max - iOS 14.2.1
Had no issues with the 11 pro max running the same iOS and Roon version
No issue with streaming or with the Roon Remote installed on a MacBook so unsure if any of the above informations are relevant as it seems to be an iPhone / Roon Remote software issue only

Have you tried to remove and reinstall the roon app on the iPhone 12?

I believe so but now that you’re asking I’m unsure
Doing it now. Thanks

Same problem I’m afraid - app crashes after few seconds

I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max running OS ver. 14.2.1 with no Roon issues.

IPhone 12 pro user here with no issues…

No issues with an iPhone 12 with same versions.

For those with the same issue, this did the trick for me

  • uninstall Roon remote + reboot the iPhone
  • reboot Roon core machine
  • reinstall Roon remote
So far so good… (couple of hours without problem :crossed_fingers:t2:)
