Describe the issue

I’m trying to connect to Roon with my iPhone 15. It cannot find Roon even though my iPad (M1) can. I use a MacBook (M1 Pro) as the Roon server. All Roon apps and OSes are up to date as of 12/1/2025.

Hey @chris4,

Thanks for writing in, and sorry to hear about your connection issues using your iPhone!

Before anything else - in your iPhone settings, access your apps>Roon> confirm Local Network is toggled on. If it is, toggle off and on again, and see if you’re able to connect.

If not, it may be worth removing the Roon mobile app, and perform a fresh reinstall to see if that helps.

If you still have issues after the above, I’d safely stop Roon Server, and then give both your Roon Server machine as well as your router a reboot.

We’ll be monitoring for your reply and results! :folded_hands:

Hi @chris4,

Please let us know if you still require assistance/troubleshooting with this issue.

I recommend navigating to WiFI Details page for your WiFi network in your iPhone’s iOS Settings and ensuring that Private Wifi is toggled off.

We’ll watch for your reply. Thanks!
