I just get a white screen that says connect to your roon server with a red dot next to connecting without ever connecting and a purple connect button below it. Reinstalled the app on the phone and same problem.
Works fine on my MacBook Pro but want it to work on my iPhone too.
Yes, it is. Titan is plugged into network via ethernet. The rest of the family has iphone 14s, no problem. I just returned from nyc with the upgraded phone and it’s on the same wife as the other phones and it won’t connect.
then scroll down to Private Wi-Fi Adress and turn it off. (On a home network, Off or Fixed shouldn’t normally make a difference. Rotate can cause connection issues, depending on the network and the router).
Thank you for those suggestions. After trying all of the above, unfortunately the same frozen screen with my phone ap unable to connect to the titan. Always fun with this sofftware.
@Lee_Root ,
In an attempt to narrow your troubleshooting and remove your phone from the equation or determine that the phone still needs troubleshooting would it be possible to try and make the attempt on another phone in your home (perhaps you and a spouse or partner share the same model phone) just as a quick test?
I do have a 5GHZ wifi. I appreciate your suggestions and forgot the network on my phone and then reconnected and unfortunately same issue. I also repeated the toggle on roon inside general>privacy>local network to no avail.
Did anything trigger this that you know of Lee? A recent IOS update the recent Roon update.
Check your Roon updates on your Nucleus as well as your iPhone. As well as what IOS your running you want to have that info ready for the support team. I’m sure they’ll have a resolution for you unless IOS 18.1.1 is presenting another issue to worry about.
Do you happen to use Roon ARC? If not this might not make for a bad time to give it a try as a substitute. Or at least temporarily.
I know many have issues but it work great for me on the road as well as at home. I’m on the move a lot and I run a ton of scheduled backups and I absolutely love that using arc doesn’t interfere with a back up as it’s running its course so there’s no interruption in my listening whereas often, some of my backups will not process due to my listening to Roon during those periods.
If you plug a USBC into your equipment and use your phone as a source you still should get lossless. Of course it’s not convenient or you can suffer through Bluetooth temporarily
In any event using it or the inability to use it might present, some clues
I live on hawaii island and was in nyc last week for the art auctions. I bought an iphone 16 pro and traded in my old iphone 14 pro. That’s all that has changed. When I returned home every other computer and other family members phones work fine. My new phone which had everything transferred from my old phone can not connect to the nucleus titan. It’s got to be something with my new phone because everything else works fine. But, let’s be honest, i want to operate both of my stereos with my phone 99% of the time.
I do not use roon arc, no. Just the titan via ethernet to my network and my 2 dacs (msb cascade and mbl 1611f) are each connected to the network via ethernet cables and i just toggle between the pair of zones depending on which stereo i want to enjoy.
@Lee_Root ,
I totally get it Lee. I don’t think you’re going to have any problem other than The delay of hearing back from support, which hopefully will be soon. From what I’ve been reading, their diagnostics data and equipment must be incredible.
It’s probably something that we just don’t understand here or it’s something dead simple but I’m sure you’ll be up and running hopefully by tomorrow unless someone jumps in with an idea.
