I think this is more a common problem, than only an iPhone problem. But, see for yourself:
The album name is not readable. I have to open the album and look at the picture to read what it is…

Yes, same problem exists on my iPad Pro 11" (or any iPad). Not sure what the solution would be as automatically reducing font size to see more title causes its own issue at some point.
Other Apps have already solutions for that problem:
- Bigger Artwork and more Space for Text
- Auto Scrolling the text
- Expanding Info when hovering/holding
- Multiline titles (or adjustable number of lines)
- Compressed fonts
- placing the name over the artwork (please don’t)
- a Dynamic info area for the selected item
- A List View with smaller artwork
