I have Roon running as a client on a MacBook laptop (as a client to my Roon server running on a different computer); when I connect to Roon on an iPhone, it shows a previous session, not what’s currently playing. Is there a way to have both devices synched to the current state?
What do you mean exactly by previous session?
Do you go to the same audio zone as the Mac was/ is ?
Apologies - I’m less than a week into Roon and don’t understand what an audio zone is. Pointers to discussion much appreciated.
What I was trying to describe is that what Roon shows as playing on my laptop (which is what I’m hearing on speakers) is not what my iPhone shows, for which Now Playing indicates a different album. Adding to my confusion, the pause/play rewind/fast forward controls on the iPhone work, but control the tracks indicated on the laptop. It’s as the iPhone and laptop are competing for control of the Roon server, but only one has control of what’s playing.
