I was not surprised to discover my iPhone 4s is not supported by the new Roon app, since you guys prefer cutting edge. I intend to replace it, but I’m leaning toward the SE as I prefer a phone I can easily fit in my pocket. Is the incompatibility just the OS (I stopped udating it since updates slow it down intolerably) or do you need the screen real estate of the larger phones?
Mean time, my iPad Air is working fine with the latest iOS Roon Remote app.
All 64-bit iPhones (5S upwards) are supported, regardless of screen size. The SE will run Roon just fine.
Yes, I’ve just upgraded my 4S to an SE and Roon runs fine. Only thing to watch is that the smaller screen size makes some of Roon’s buttons a bit tricky to select.
I’ve even installed Roon on a recent iPod and that works too, but some of the buttons are indeed a little fiddly!
@chrisbyrd – can you send @mike screenshots via PM? – he can put in work item to fix the “tricky to select” – explain what is hard per screenshot… this shouldnt be hard to get done.

I did finally get the SE. It works fine with Roon. I prefer the larger display of the iPad, but the Pad gets used for many things and isn’t always in the listening room. The phone is usually on my person.
