IQAudio still listed as a partner

IQaudIO who originally produced various audio HATs like the DigiAmp+ are listed as a roon partner offering a Roon Ready solution.

My understanding was that this related to the provision of a Roon Certified Raspberry Pi OS Image that implemented a “Roon Ready” endpoint when run on a supported RPi/IQAudio HAT combination.

However, it appears that these OS images have not been maintained and are in any case no longer available.

Further, IQAudio have been purchased and the IQAudio website (IQaudIO) linked from Roon x IQaudIO now redirects to the Raspberry Pi website (specifically IQaudIO is now Raspberry Pi ).

As a consequence of this, I think that continuing to have IQaudIO listed as a Partner offering Roon Ready products is misleading.

The web page title is, “What does Roon work?” and lists past and present Roon Ready devices. Should Roon remove the Chord Mojo because this device is no longer available?

Therefore, I disagree, since the these products are Roon Ready, and an image isn’t necessary for them to work–there are many alternatives, including Raspbian and Ropoiee. Moreover, I don’t believe the image is a prerequisite for Roon Ready status.

Furthermore, the website links were updated to point to Raspberry Pi, which implies that Roon are aware of the change of ownership. Nonetheless, I will flag Roon staff for their attention.
