IR Control via GPIO

Hi @spockfish ,

I am wondering if there is an option to control Roon via IR and the rpi GPIO ( Vishay TSOP38238) on the RoPieee build.

I have written an extension which I used for about a year for this purpose, here. I was using my own linux build, but given that I have another RoPieee endpoint, I wanted both to be the same. I have tested the extension on RoPieee, it worked fine, until a software update.

Is there a way that I can do the same? I am using a custom case, so a USB device is not an option.
