Is it possible to install Windows on a PC running Roon Server Operating System?

I recently upgraded my Roon server and would like to install Windows to run as a standard PC. The PC is running the Roon Operating System. I don’t get any option to enter BIOS on startup. When I insert a flash drive with Windows 11 installer it isn’t read.

Is this a standard PC or NUC? When in doubt you can look up the BIOS key for the manufacturer as they are usually the same.

Not quite clear what you want to do here. Do you want to run Windows AND Roon on the new machine? If that’s the case you will need to scrap your Roon OS installation, install windows and then install the Windows Roon server. If you’re referring to the machine you’ve upgraded FROM then you’ll need to research the key combo for accessing the BIOS (often F1 or F12 or DEL) in order to boot from a usb with a Windows installer.

Thanks for your help. I was able to overwrite Roon Server OS to install Windows 11. Apparently, I didn’t press F2 (Dell BIOS key) on the first attempt.
