Best way to find out do the experiment yourself. Most PCs have IECs. Most audiophiles have an extra power cord or two.

In my experience a better power cord on the server can affect the sound quality.

Yes. If the cable is defective such that it doesn’t transmit AC power, there won’t be any sound.
