Hi
I’m a Roon & Qobuz subscriber with a reasonably large library (over 32,000 favourited tracks), and there is a significant issue that makes playlist management more difficult than I would wish.
In the Qobuz app, there does not seem to be a way to identify which tracks inside a playlist have not yet been added to my library (i.e. no heart symbol). For large playlists (many of mine are at the Qobuz upper limit of 2,000 tracks), manually scrolling to visually find the missing favourites is extremely time-consuming.
Also, from what I can make out, if I use the Roon Playlist Improve function, the tracks it suggests replacing in the playlist, i.e. ‘missing tracks found’ or ‘quality upgrades found’, are replaced in the Qobuz playlist with versions of the tracks which are not in my library (have no heart symbol).
Playlist Improve is a great idea in my opinion, but if you routinely use it and you are a bit on the obsessive side like myself, then you are constantly having to re-examine your playlists to ensure that all of the tracks that you want to be in your library are actually in it.
I find that I am spending way too much of my free time endlessly scrolling through my playlists looking for tracks that need to have the heart symbol re-checked, so if anyone has any advice as how I could get either Qobuz or Roon to quickly highlight tracks in large playlists that have been removed from favourites and need to be re-added, then I would be eternally grateful.
Best regards

Having a heart symbol in Room means it is in your library AND has been made a favourite.
Tracks can be in the library without a heart.
Hi
I have not favourited any tracks in Roon, I am talking about tracks that have been favourited in Qobuz (i.e. blank heart symbol checked next to track to make it solid).
What I am really looking for is a quick, no-nonsense method for locating tracks that are not favourited in large (2,000) Qobuz playlists, a method other than scrolling through each playlist until I come across blank heart symbols that need to be checked.
As I said above, using Playlist Improve in Roon on a playlist that has been created in Qobuz will identify tracks that were previously unavailable, but now are, or tracks where a better quality version is now available. If you accept the selected improvements, it replaces the version of the track currently in the Qobuz playlist (with heart symbol checked) with a different version (with heart symbol unchecked).
At present, there is no option within Qobuz that I can see to filter or highlight tracks in playlists that are not favourited, nor is there a toggle such as ‘Show only un-favourited tracks’. I was hoping that maybe someone out there had found a workaround for this, because it’s a bit of a grind trying to locate them all one by one.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
Best regards
Alan
I think my confusion came from the dual use of library.
“replaced in the Qobuz playlist with versions of the tracks which are not in my library (have no heart symbol).”
Hi
It’s down to my clunky description of the problem. My knowledge when it comes to IT affairs is strictly limited, but although these apps should be making my life easier the opposite is actually the case at the moment. Thanks for your input.
