Is there an extension that I could use to get visuals in Minimeters?

I use the minimeters software for my Audio work, it’s basically a spectrum analyzer amongst other meters.
When using Roon in exclusive mode, which I prefer, Minimeter can’t grab the audio signal to analyze it.
I was wondering if there is an extension that could be used to also send audio to the OS mixer so that minimeter could see it?

  • You can use a virtual Audio cable giving you an additional output channel.
  • Now pair this channel with your original output and play to the paired channel with Roon.

Thanks for the suggestion I will have a look at it.
Will it allow me to still use my DAC in exclusive mode?

If you like Roon maybe you also like rooExtend Roon Extensions.
If you like please give it a try.

One more thing. In the grouping of the two playback zones you DAC should be the master and the virtual cable the slave. More stable clock and so better jitter immunity.
