Describe the issue

I have a gustard x30 and want to use Roon. I have a roon account. As instructed i tried to open X30.local on my Windows computer, where i see a handfull of icons; upnp, Spotify, Roon and some more. When i click on an icon the pc keeps searching and tells me website cannot be found or it keeps searching. I disabled all firewalls on Pc and my provider router/modem.
Nothing works. Pc has Windows 7 and laptop is Windows 11.
Please HELP me.
Thank you,
Marlon

Hi @Marlon_Burger ,

Welcome to the forum! After you select Roon Bridge mode, does the device show up under Roon Settings → Audio in the main Roon app? Does that work as expected?

No it’s not in roon. My pc is in roon but the X30 isn’t. I do see the X30 in my modem so it is in my network.

Yes i will try to install the Windows driver. Thank you.

Hi @Marlon_Burger ,

Usually, you wouldn’t need the driver for a Roon Bridge zone.

Since you are using a Windows PC, I would verify that both Roon.exe and RAATServer.exe have been added as exceptions to your Windows firewall.

You can use these instructions to add the exceptions and the executables themselves would be located in your Database Location/Application folder path.

I would also add these exceptions to any Antivirus or other Firewall blocking applications you may have and ensure that you connected to your network via a Private network, not a Public one, see this guide for more information.
