Issue connecting Silent Angel Roon server to Auralic Vega S1 via USB (ref#RE276M)

What’s happening?

· I'm having trouble connecting to Roon

What type of connection issue?

Describe the issue

just try to connect my Silent Angel Roon server with my

Fidata usb cable A to B to my Auralic Vega S1 in the pure dac modus. But it don,t work. Roon ask for audio zone
And it come again and again with the Auralic S1 it’s not certified. And the Auralic is only in the PureDac modus. I don’t no what to do.
I cannot play with Roon.I hope to hear from you, maybe I do something wrong.

Because it isn’t certified yet for Roon Ready which is over the network not USB. If your using it as DAC only connected to your Roon server via USB connection then it would show up under connected to this server section. If you don’t see it then speak to Silent Angel as Roon won’t support this server as it’s not licensed to distribute Roon server software and they are breaking all t/c. What is the Item you have as SSD as that is the servers ALSA output and would be to a DAC. Looks like you renamed it to SSD. What shows up under that when you click on the settings for it.

Thank you very much I do have now the the right solution.
I have renamed it to usb dac 2.0 and it works. My Silent Angel Roon server works very good with my Auralic dac in the PureDac modus.
