How can I send log files?
Moreover sometimes Tidal is playing normal on Roon, but there is no sound on spekers.
Hello @maciej_badowski,
Thanks for contacting support, I’d be happy to take a look over this issue with you.
Can you please provide some more information regarding your network setup? As in what model Modem/Router do you have and how is it connected to your Core, (WiFi or Ethernet)? Can you please let me know what kind of device you are using as your endpoint, is it possibly a DAC? Can you provide the model for the DAC if that is the case?
I have gone ahead and enabled diagnostics mode for your account which means that next time your Core is active, a set of logs will be automatically generated and uploaded to our servers. What I kindly ask for you to do is reproduce this issue again on your end and then let me know the exact local time in your country (ex. 12:00PM) so that we can check for any errors around that time. Please let me know after you done so and we can continue from there.
Thanks,
Noris
Hi i use router/modem thomson twg870. Comp is conected via ethernet. The end point is Dac Lampizator Atlantic. So signal from comp via usb going to dac. Now in Poland is 18:43.
I started playing the playlist from now. Also did some changes in router setup
Now Roon is working but no sound
When I change the track Roon is still showing that all is Ok but no sound
Hello @maciej_badowski,
Thanks for providing that information to me. What changes have you done in the router setup to get this to work? Can you please try to restart the Roon application, turn off your DAC and turn it back on again to see if that resolves the issue? Please let me know your findings.
Thanks,
Noris
2 min ago music crashed again. Now i will restart Roon and dac
In router yust made hard restart
Hello @maciej_badowski,
Thank you for providing that timestamp and restarting your router. I also have another suggestion which may be of help here. Can you please try to disable your DSP functions and see if the TIDAL playback still randomly stops? If you are using any CPU intensive DSP functions such as up-sampling to DSD, that can cause issues if you are also running a lot of programs on the core computer. Please let me know if that solves the issue.
Thanks,
Noris
With dsp i have processing speed 2,4. The computer is made only for Roon, all oder proces and drivers are off using Audiophil Optimzer.
Hello @maciej_badowski,
Can you please try to disable the DSP temporarily to see if that could be causing the issue here? It would be very helpful to test this before moving on to the next step in troubleshooting.
The next step after confirming if disabling DSP has any affect or not would be to try Roon on another computer to see if you are still experiencing the same issues with TIDAL. Can you please try installing Roon on another computer temporarily, connect the Lampizator DAC to it and try playing TIDAL content. If the playback does not stop on the new computer, it could indicate that something is going wrong on the old one.
Please let me know what disabling DSP does and if Roon is working properly from another computer. I look forward to your replies.
Thanks,
Noris
Roon from over 2 hours working fine- after reloding you provide. I use this setup with upsampling more than one year. Thanks for Your help, for now problem is solved.
Hello @maciej_badowski,
I’m glad that you were able to get the setup working with the reboot. Please let us know you experience any other issues.
Thanks,
Noris
